Amino Acid Profile Comparison Tool

Pick one or two protein source below in order to compare them. This tool uses data I’ve collected from a variety of sources; I chose from reputable studies whenever possible.

The data is in terms of percent (%) of total amino acids in each respective source.

I realize it’s a bit tough to see, but essential amino acids are marked with an asterisk beside their name (*).

In general, plant sources of protein don’t have quite as good of an amino acid profile. However, keep in mind is that most diets and plant based protein powders have a blend of protein sources, so you cover most weaknesses in individual amino acid profiles.
